Protecting nature for the next generation was something I learned early through my yearly trips Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park.  Hiking up to Bear lake, or going through the canyons, there were few activities I have enjoyed more, and so it is with great happiness that I was recently introduced to the people at China Rivers Project

China Rivers Project organizes education-oriented river trips in China, providing opportunities for decision makers, scientists, and local community members and others to experience China’s river heritage.

and their mission is a big one:

protect China’s river heritage for people and wildlife and to foster river based recreation in China.
