About Us

Collective Responsibility believes that a sustainable world can only be achieved through cross-sector collaboration.

Working with partners – businesses, academics, non-profit organizations and social enterprises – Collective Responsibility aims to develop sustainable and impactful solutions.

Through consulting, research, training and enabling cross platform discussions, we aim to:

• Create a knowledge base and catalyze discussion of issues related to the development of civil society, business sustainability and social development in China and beyond.
• Build bridges between local and foreign resources to ensure knowledge transfer, program scalability and growth
• Develop organizational capacity with the aim to help create stable and profitable enterprises
• Create an awareness of the third sector within China’s universities and civil sector professionals to increase awareness of issues, highlight their civic responsibility as future leaders, and harness their capacity to become civic leaders.

Based in Shanghai, Collective Responsibility is founded by members of the NGO and business communities who understand the need to bridge the socio-economic dichotomy to achieve sustainability beyond the nation’s borders.
