Formed by members of the NGO community to bring like minded individuals members of China’s CSR community together, Collective Responsibility provides a forum for CSR and civil society professionals, corporations, NGOs, academics, and citizens to discuss issues, programs, trends, companies and people defining civil society in China.

Through our website, workshops, research, and events our core goals are to:

• Create a knowledge base and catalyze discussion of issues related to the development of civil society and CSR in China
• Develop bridges between local and foreign resources to ensure knowledge transfer, program growth, and scalability
• Develop long term capacity within the various actors (NGO, MNC, academic, government, and citizen) that will create stable and sustainable solutions
• Provide a platform where civil sector professionals can come together to share best practices
• Create an awareness of the third sector within China’s universities to increase awareness of issues, highlight their civic responsibility as future leaders, and harness their capacity to become civic leader
