Friends of Nature (FON) is the oldest environmental NGO in China. We have been working for over a decade to promote environmental awareness about China’s most pressing environmental problems.

Shanghai Roots & Shoots is a non-profit organization that works on environmental and humanitarian education with youth, through local schools, focusing on the three areas of animals, environmental protection, and human societies. There are Shanghai Roots & Shoots groups in over 170 local schools that plan and implement their own environmental projects.
Since 2004, Shanghai Roots & Shoots has been the first and only foreign-affiliated non-profit organization registered with the Chinese government.

Sichuan Earthquake has left large numbers of physically challenged people behind. This group of people, especially teenagers has become a social problem locally. Ai Yi has launched its assistance program in Sichuan since June, 2008 who dedicates to helping physically challenged teenagers in Qingchuan to gain access to proper medication and life-skills training.
